Creating Community through Tile

We believe in the American Sentiment "E pluribus unum" - out of many, one. We create public art by the people and for the people. Through working with thousands of people on group projects coordinated and facilitated through Aloe tile Works, we have developed a process where people design a large scale tile piece together, then decorate the tile themselves, thus integrating theselves into the artwork. When people can see how they can be artists and part of their community, tile creates pride and unity. We're proud to be part of that process.

Workshops. Once a project is designed, we will hold workshops and let you be a part of the art process. We will host and lead your group through all parts of creating a beautiful piece of art work that will be part of community life for years to come.

Community Involvement. You can find Aloe tile murals on schools, parks, churches and city buildings. We're even part of the Texas Highway system, having designed and installed rest stops in two locations across the state. Some of these are collaborative works with different community groups such as schools, churches and recreation centers. Others are art tiles that were designed and created entirely by Aloe Tile Works.
